Ingredients

 
1 c. sugar
 
1/4 c. lemon juice
 
2 tbsp. butter
 
8 ripe pears
 
2 pkg. frozen raspberries, thawed
 
1/4 c. port
 
Sour cream

Directions

Combine sugar, lemon juicii, butter and 2 cups boil- ing water in saucepan; simmer for 5 minutes.
Re- move skin from pears, leAdd lemon mixture.
Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Cool in liq- uid; drain.
Sieve raspberries into large bowl; stir in port.
Arrange pears in mixture; refrigerate for several hours or overnight, turning occasionally and basting with sauce.
Serve pears with sauce and sour cream.
