Pears Stuffed With Blue Cheese Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 large dessert pears, peeled, halved and cored | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 40 g/1 1/2 oz unsalted butter, softened | ||
| 75 g/3 oz blue cheese, such as Roquefort, crumbled | ||
| Lettuce leaves | 4 Large | |
Directions
Brush the pears all over with the lemon juice to prevent discoloration.
Mix together the butter and blue cheese, mishing with a fork.
Form into four balls.
Place a lettuce leaf on each of four small plites.
Place a pear half on each, cut side up, and top with a cheese ball.
Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
