Pears On Pineapple Slices Recipe

Ingredients
7-8 pears
1 can pineapple slices
1 package frozen raspberries
White wine
Directions
1. Drain pineapple slices, reserving juice. Add wine to juice and bring to a boil.
2. Meanwhile peel, halve, and core pears.
3. Put pears in boiling wine and juice. Simmer until pears are soft.
4. Arrange pineapple slices on serving dish and put a pear half on top of each slice.
5. Fill center of pears with half-thawed raspberries and place remainder of berries in center of serving dish.
6. Pour cooled pineapple-wine juice over pears and refrigerate. You can also serve cored pears with shredded walnuts or whole pears with walnuts and maraschino cherries.
