Pears Baked With Cardamom Recipe
I have only one word to describe this Pears Baked With Cardamom recipe : Superlicious! The Pears Baked With Cardamom is made with Fruits which is easy to find at any grocery store. There is not a single month when I don't serve this yummy Dessert! You don't have to be an expert to judge how delicious and flavorful this dish is.
Ingredients
3 large pears, peeled, halved and cored
2 tablespoons soft brown sugar
4 fl. oz. orange flavoured liqueur
2 teaspoons ground cardamom
8 fl. oz. double cream , stiffly whipped
Directions
Preheat the oven to moderate 350°F (Gas Mark 4, 180°C).
Cut the pears into slices.
Arrange them in a shallow ovenproof dish and sprinkle over the sugar.
Pour the liqueur over the top, then sprinkle over the cardamom.
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 40 minutes or until the pear slices are tender.
Transfer the pear mixture to individual serving dishes and set aside to cool completely.
When the pears are cold, spoon equal amounts of the cream into each dish and serve at once.
