1 No. 303 can pears
1 pkg. lemon gelatin
2 c. whipped cream
1 tsp. Vanilla
Directions
"Drain pears; reserve juice.
Add enough water to re- served juice to measure 2 cups liquid.
Combine gela- tin and 1 cup liquid in saucepan; cook over low heat until gelatin is dissolved, stirring constantly.
Stir in remaining liquid; chill until partially congealed.
Whip gelatin mixture until fluffy.
Add whipped cream.
Mash pears; fold into gelatin mixture.
Add vanilla; chill until firm.
Spoon into sherbet glasses; serve with additional whipped cream, if desired."
