Ingredients

 
Nee- 1 cup
 
Boiling water- 2 cups
 
Salt- 1 teaspoon
 
Milk- 1 cup
 
Pears- 3
 
Raspberries or strawberries- 3 cups
 
Sugar- 2/3 cup
 
Whipped cream- as required

Directions

GETTING READY
1.Start by washing the rice thoroughly and late draining it
2.Also pare pears and cut into halves, then remove the core
MAKING
3.Place rice in a double boiler, add water and cook until water is all absorbed.
4.Add salt and milk and continue cooking until rice is tender.
5.Turn into individual greased molds and chill.
6.Unmold on a serving platter.
7.Crush raspberries or strawberries and add sugar.
8.Arrange pears around rice molds.
9.Fill pears with raspberries or strawberries and pour remainder over rice molds.
10.Top rice molds with whipped cream.
SERVING
11.Serve with cream
