Pear Relish Recipe
Ingredients
| Flour | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tumeric | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Celery seed | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Vinegar | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 quarts peeled, chopped pears | ||
| Onions | 1 Quart, chopped | |
| 8 sour pickles | ||
| Bell peppers | 4 To taste, chopped | |
| 4 hot peppers, chopped | ||
Directions
Combine flour, sugar, tumeric, celery seed, salt and vinegar.
Cook until thick.
Run the pears, onions, pickles and peppers through food chopper.
Combine with vinegar mixture.
Cook 15 to 20 minutes.
Seal in sterilized jars.
Makes 7 or 8 pints.
