Pear Harlequin Recipe
Ingredients
6 lbs. pears
3 oranges
1/2 can shredded pineapple
Sugar
Medium sized bottle maraschino
cherries
Directions
Peel and core pears, and chop fine.
Cut oranges in fine slivers, removing pith and pits.
Add pineapple and measure fruit.
Add 1/2 cup sugar for each cup of fruit.
Mix together and let stand overnight.
Boil till clear and thick.
Just before removing from heat, add the cherries and juice.
Pour into sterilized jars and seal when cool.
