Pear Chutney Recipe
Ingredients
| Green peppers | 1 Dozen | |
| 1/2 pk. pears, ground, not peeled | ||
| Onions | 5 Large | |
| Sugar | 3 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 qts. white or good cider vinegar | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 3 hot red peppers | ||
| Tumeric | 2 Tablespoon, powdered | |
| Celery seed | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 2 teaspoons white mustard se | ||
Directions
Grind onions and peppers together, mix well with the salt.
Put into a large cloth bag and let drain for 12 hours.
Then pour in over mixture cold water and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
Make a bouquet of the spices by tying in a cloth.
Mix sugar
