Peanutty Yummy Bars Recipe

Ingredients
| Quick cooking oats | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| All purpose flour | 1 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/3 cup plus | ||
| 1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar | ||
| Butter margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), softened | |
| 3 tablespoons plus 1/3 cup chunky peanut butter | ||
| Eggs | 3 Large | |
| 4 1/2 teaspoons light molasses | ||
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 cup salted cocktail peanuts, chopped | ||

| Confectioners' sugar for garnish | ||
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease 13" by 9" metal baking pan.
Prepare crust: In large bowl, with mixer at low speed, beat oats, 1 cup flour, 1/3 cup packed brown sugar, 4 tablespoons margarine or butter, and 3 tablespoons peanut butter until blended.
Pat dough evenly into pan and bake 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, in large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat eggs, molasses, 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar, 1/3 cup peanut butter, and remaining 4 tablespoons margarine or butter until well combined, constantly scraping bowl with rubber spatula.
Reduce speed to low; add baking powder, salt, and remaining 2/3 cup flour and beat until blended, occasionally scraping bowl.
With spoon, stir in peanuts and chocolate pieces.
Spread mixture evenly over hot crust.
Bake 40 minutes longer or until golden.
Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar if you like.
