Peanut Sesame Chew Recipe

Ingredients
4 cups shelled blanched peanuts
1 cup sugar 3/4 cup water
1 cup honey 1/4 cup buttei
1 cup sesame seeds
Directions
Spread the peanuts in a shallow flat pan, and toast at 350°F. 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Pour into a greased bowl.
Mix the next 4 ingredients in a saucepan, and cook slowly until syrup spins a thread, about 40 minutes, or until a candy thermometer registers 250°F.
Sprinkle 1/2 the sesame seeds over the bottom of a greased jelly-roll pan or cookie sheet.
Pour the syrup over the peanuts and remaining seeds.
Mix with a fork, and scrape into the prepared pan.
Spread and flatten with the back of a greased spoon.
Cool, and cut into large bars.
Makes about 56.
