Peanut Roast Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Celery | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Fat | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Hot water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Peanuts | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Breadcrumbs | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Green pea | 1 Cup (16 tbs), canned | |
| Juice of half a lemon | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper- a small amount | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Start by preheating the oven to 350F degrees
MAKING
2.In a saucepan, cook onion and celery in fat until golden brown
3.Now add hot water and simmer until vegetables are tender
4.Also mix other ingredients, adding the egg last
5.Combine the mixture with the celery and onion mixture
6.Pack into greased baking-dish and bake until golden brown
SERVING
7.Serve with baked vegetables and a sauce of your choice
