 Cream of tartar1⁄2 Teaspoon

Directions

"Combine milk powder, 1 cup sugar and cornstarch in saucepan; add slightly beaten egg yolks and 3 cups water.
Mix until smooth.
Cook over low heat, stir- ring constantly, until thick; remove from heat.
Add butter and peanut butter; stir until melted.
Pour fill- ing into pie crust.
Beat egg whites until stiff, adding 4 tablespoons sugar and cream of tartar.
Spread me- ringue over pie.
Bake in 400-degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
