|Peanuts or crushed peanut brittle||1 Kilogram (for garnish)|

Add peanut butter; beat smooth with rotary beater; cool.
In parfait glasses, alternate layers of vanilla ice cream and peanut butter sauce, beginning and ending with ice cream.
Garnish parfaits with peanuts or crushed peanut brittle, if desired.
