2 c. sugar
 
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
 
1 tsp. vanilla
 
Peanut butter

Directions

Mix sugar, 11/4 cups water and corn syrup in sauce- pan; cook to 238 degrees on candy thermometer.
Remove crystals from side of pan; pour mixture onto chilled platter.
Cool to 100 degrees on candy thermometer; add vanilla.
Beat until white and creamy; knead.
Roll out; spread with peanut butter.
Roll jelly roll fashion; slice.
