Directions
GETTING READY
1) Grease a baking sheet.
MAKING
2) Combine the shortening and sugar and cream till light and fluffy.
3) Stir in the peanut butter and beat well.
4) Add in the eggs and milk.
5) Combine and sift the flour, salt, baking powder, cloves, mace and cinnamon.
6) Blend into the creamed mix.
7) Stir in the raisins.
8) Using a teaspoon, scoop the mix and drop onto a baking sheet.
9) Using a fork, flatten each cookie.
10) Place in the oven at 375° F and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or till golden brown.
