Peanut Butter Drop Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
2 c. (packed) brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. shortening
I tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
Crunchy peanut butter
Directions
Cream brown sugar, eggs and shortening until fluffy; add vanilla and 1/2 cup water.
Sift flour, soda and salt together; add to creamed mixture, blending well.
Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Place 1/2 teaspoon peanut butter on top of each cookie.
Cover with 1/2 teaspoon remaining cookie dough.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 to 15 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned.
