Directions

Place first 4,ingredients in bowl.
Rub in peanut butter until mixture/is crumbly.
Combine eggs, milk and lemon rind, and stir quickly into » flour mixture.
Scrape into greased 9" x 5" x 3" loaf pan.
Sprinkle with peanuts.
Bake at 325°— 350 °F. 50-60 minutes.
While still hot, brush top with melted butter.
Cool, and remove from pan.
Slice second day.
Makes 1 loaf.
