Peanut Whirlwinds Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup shortening, softened
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar replacement
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted
2 tsp butter, melted
1/3 cup unsalted peanuts, finely ground
Directions
Combine butter, shortening, cream cheese, sugar replacement and vanilla extract in mixing bowl.
Beat until smooth and creamy Stir in flour and salt until completely blended.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours until easy to handle.
On lightly floured surface, roll half of dough to 1/8 in. (3 mm) thickness.
Mix together melted chocolate chips, butter and ground peanuts to make a paste.
Spread half of the chocolate paste over rolled dough.
Roll up,jelly-roll style.
Repeat with remaining dough.
With a sharp knife, cut into 1/8 in. (3 mm) slices.
Place on greased cookie sheets, 1 in. (2.5 cm) apart.
Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 8 to 10 minutes.
