Peanut Pork Sate Recipe
Ingredients
| French dressing | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Peanut butter | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry sherry | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Red pepper | 1 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Ginger piece | 1 , cut into pieces | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 1/2 pounds pork tenderloin, sliced diagonally into 1/4 inch strips | ||
Directions
In blender or food processor, blend sweet 'n spicy French dressing, peanut butter, sherry, soy sauce, pepper, ginger and garlic until smooth.
In large shallow baking dish, blend 1/1 cup dressing mixture with water; add pork and turn to coat.
Cover and marinate in refrigerator, stirring occasionally, 4 hours or overnight.
Cover and refrigerate remaining dressing mixture for use as basting sauce.
Remove pork from marinade; discard marinade.
Onto 12-inch skewers thread pork strips, weaving back and forth.
Grill or broil, turning and basting occasionally with reserved dressing mixture, 12 minutes or until pork is done.
