Peanut Pilaf Recipe
Ingredients
| Regular Rice - 1 cup uncooked | ||
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Onion | 1 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Chicken bouillon cubes | 2 | |
| Ground ginger | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Dried apricots | 1/4 | |
| Salted peanuts | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Mix together the rice, water, salt, onion and butter, chicken cubes and ground ginger
2) Add the rice into a saucepan, of boiling water
3) Cover with a lid and simmer till the rice is soft and the liquid is absorbed
4) Add in the apricots and peanuts and fluff the rice using a fork to mix
SERVING
5) Serve the pilaf with some skewered lamb
