Peanut Dip Recipe
Ingredients
| Roasted salted peanuts | 1 To taste, rinsed | |
| Ripe Bananas-2-Peeled And Sliced | ||
| Small Onion- 1/2 -Chopped | ||
| Lemon-1-Juice And Grated Rind | ||
| Tomato puree | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Honey Or Raw Cane Sugar-1/2 Teaspoon | ||
| Natural yogurt | 3 Fluid Ounce | |
| Breadcrumbs | 3 Ounce | |
| Vegetable Margarine Or Butter-4 Oz (100 g)-Softened | ||
| Sea salt | To Taste | |
| Ground black pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. In a blender bowl, blend the peanuts to a paste
2. Set aside till required
MAKING
3. In another blender bowl, puree the bananas, onion, lemon juice and rind, tomato puree (paste), honey and yogurt
4. In another bowl, mix all the pastes together
5. Season the mix
FINALIZING
6. Spoon the mixture into individual serving bowls
7. Set aside to chill for 1 hour.
SERVING
8. Serve with crackers or celery
9. Serve as a spread for toasted pita triangles
