Peanut Crescent Bars Recipe
Ingredients
| Dinner rolls | 1 Can (10oz), refrigerated | |
| Cream cheese | 3 Ounce | |
| Peanut butter | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Confectioner’s sugar | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), powdered | |
| Vanilla | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Peanuts | 1 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely chopped | |
| Chocolate package | 1 |
Directions
1. Separate crescent rolls into 2 large pieces. Press into the bottom of a 15x10x1-inch jelly roll pan, sealing perforations while pressing out.
2. Combine cream cheese and peanut butter in a large bowl until smooth with a wooden spoon. Stir 10X sugar and vanilla into mixture until smooth. Spread over dough; sprinkle with nuts.
3. Bake in moderate oven (375°) 25 minutes, or until golden brown; sprinkle chocolate pieces over; stir lightly to spread melting chocolate. Cool in pan on wire rack 15 minutes; cut into 5 strips, lengthwise, and 8 strips, crosswise, to make 40 bars. Cool completely.
