Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

Ingredients
2/3 c. sugar
Dash of salt
3 egg yolks
2 egg whites
Peanut butter
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 to 2 c. powdered sugar
Directions
Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt together.
Stir egg yolks into milk and add to dry ingredients.
Cook until thickened.
Remove from heat and add vanilla and 2 to 3 tablespoons peanut butter (amount depends on how strong you want the flavor).
Take the powdered sugar and 2 to 3 tablespoons peanut butter and with a fork mix well together until crumbly.
Spread into the bottom of cooked pie shell.
Pour the cooked mixture over the crumbs.
Make a meringue from the egg whites (beat them until stiff) and put on top of pie.
Place in warm oven a few minutes until it turns a golden brown.
