Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars Recipe
Ingredients
| Chunky peanut butter | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Granulated Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 cup reduced-calorie margarine | ||
| 1/4 cup liquid fructose | ||
| Egg | 1 | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 cup quick-cooking oatmeal | ||
| Oat bran | 1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk | ||
Directions
Combine peanut butter, sugar replacement, and margarine in a mixing bowl.
Beat to blend thoroughly.
Beat in liquid fructose, egg, and vanilla extract.
Stir in oatmeal, oat bran, and dry milk.
Turn batter into a greased 13 x 9 in. (33 x 23 cm) baking pan.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 35 minutes, or until top has browned and toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
