Peanut Butter Oat Dreams Recipe
Ingredients
| Firmly packed brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Unsalted margarine - 1/2 cup, softened | ||
| Peanut butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg substitute or egg - 1/4 cup or 1 whole | ||
| Oat flour | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All-purpose flour - 1 cup | ||
| Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Baking powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Strawberry or raspberry preserves - 1/3 cup | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Heat oven to 350°F.
MAKING
2) Take a mixing bowl and combine oat flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda and baking powder.
3) In another bowl combine brown sugar, margarine, peanut butter and egg or egg substitute. Blend well.
4) Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and form crumbly dough.
5) Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each ball slightly to form an indentation with thumb or back of 1/4 measuring teaspoon.
6) Fill each indentation with about 1/4 teaspoon preserves. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until light golden brown.

7) Serve with milk, if desired.
