Directions

Beat eggs slightly, and add sugar and salt.
Combine the peanut butter very slowly with the scalded milk.
Add vanilla.
Combine with first mixture and pour into custard cups.
Set in a shallow pan containing enough hot water to come almost to the top of the cups.
Bake in a moderately slow oven (325° F.) for 30 minutes, or until custard tests done.
