Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Directions
Beat together shortening, peanut butter, white sugar and brown sugar.
Sift together dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture.
Roll into 1" diameter logs, wrap in wax paper and chill 1 hour.
Slice and place on cookie sheet, flattening to 1/4" thick.
Bake 10-12 minutes at 375°.
