Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
| Shortening | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Creamy peanut butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 2 Tablespoon | |
| All purpose flour | 1 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking soda | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar, for rolling | ||
| Hershey kisses | 40 | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a bowl combine the shortening, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar and cream together with a mixer. Then add in the egg, vanilla extract and milk then beat together. Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
Take the dough and form a 1-inch round ball then toss in a bowl of sugar and place on a baking sheet. Repeat the process with all of the dough. Then bake in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
After removing the cookies from the oven place 1 Hershey kiss into each cookie pushing halfway down. Serve and Enjoy!
