Peanut Butter Banana Split Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar
1/3 cup (80 ml) milk
1/4 cup (60 ml) honey
1 tbsp (15 ml) butter
1/3 cup (80 ml) peanut butter
2 bananas, sliced lengthwise
2 tbsp (30 ml) chopped nuts
Directions
– In a saucepan, at medium heat, combine brown sugar, milk, honey and butter. Stir to melt butter and dissolve brown sugar.
– Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Beat with mixer until smooth and creamy. Cool.
– Place a banana half in a dessert cup, top it with a scoop of ice cream and the sauce, sprinkle with nuts and serve.
