Peanut Brownies Recipe
Ingredients
| Flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sifted | |
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Peanuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 2 tablespoons butter, margarine or shortening | ||
| Peanut butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Baking Chocolate square | 2 , melted | |
| Milk | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
1. Start oven, set at Moderate, 350° F. Line an 8- or 9-inch square cake pan with waxed paper, rub it with margarine.
2. Mix and sift the flour, baking powder and salt; stir in the peanuts.
3. Cream the butter, margarine or shortening, peanut butter and sugar until light and smooth; beat in the egg and the cooled chocolate. Add the sifted dry ingredients alternately with the milk and mix well.
4. Pour into the pan. Bake about 30 minutes. Cut in squares while warm, before removing from the pan.
