Peaches With Wine Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 firm, ripe peaches, peeled | ||
| Dry white wine | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cold water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 2 strips lemon peel, 2 inches long | ||
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Combine wine, water, lemon juice, lemon peel and sugar.
Simmer until sugar dissolves.
Add peaches to syrup.
Bring to a boil.
Lower heat.
Simmer until peaches are tender.
Chill.
