Peaches In Orange Syrup Recipe

Ingredients
| 4 large ripe peaches | ||
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Orange | 1 | |
| Sugar | 2 Ounce | |
| Egg yolks | 3 | |
| Cointreau | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Halve the peaches, remove the pits (stones) and peel.
Put in a round dish, sprinkle with lemon juice and microwave, uncovered, for 3 minutes on HIGH.
Place 2 half-peaches on each of 4 plates.
Squeeze the orange to obtain 1/3 cup (41/2 tablespoons) of juice.
Add the sugar and heat for 1 minute on HIGH.
Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Put the egg yolks in a bowl with the Cointreau and whisk until foamy.
Gradually add the orange syrup, whisking constantly.
Microwave, uncovered, for 4 minutes on MEDIUM, whisking after every minute.
When the sauce has thickened, pour over the peaches
