Peaches in Almond Custard Recipe
Ingredients
| Sweet white wine | 375 Milliliter | |
| Sugar | 125 Gram | |
| Lemon juice | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 2 x 440 g (14 oz) canned peach halves, drained | ||
| VANILLA CUSTARD | ||
| Double cream | 125 Milliliter | |
| Custard | 125 Milliliter, prepared | |
| STRAWBERRY SAUCE | ||
| Strawberries | 440 Gram, drained | |
Directions
1. Place wine, sugar and lemon juice in a medium saucepan and bring to the boil. Add peach halves, remove from heat.
2. To make custard, place cream and custard in a bowl and mix to combine.
3. To make sauce, place strawberries in a food processor or blender and process. Push through a sieve to remove seeds.
4. Spoon a little custard onto four serving plates. Fan peach halves and place on custard. Spoon droplets of Strawberry Sauce on custard, then pull a skewer through the centre of each droplet.
