Peaches And Cream Recipe
Ingredients
6 to 8 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted and coarsely chopped
Grated peel and juice of 1 medium orange
Grated peel and juice of 1 lemon
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract or 1 teaspoon dark rum
1/3 to 2/3 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups Creme Fraiche, whipped and chilled
1 large peach, peeled, cut into 12 thin wedges and sprinkled with lemon juice (garnish)
Directions
Combine first 6 ingredients and 1/3 cup sugar in processor or blender and puree, adding more sugar if desired.
Transfer puree to large bowl.
Gently fold in Creme Fraiche.
Freeze partially, about 1 to 2 hours.
Spoon into chilled ramekins and let stand at room temperature until ice crystals melt.
Garnish each serving with peach wedge.
