Peach Preserves Recipe
Ingredients
4 pounds prepared peaches
6 cups sugar
3 cups water
Directions
Place peaches in wire basket or cheesecloth and immerse in boiling water until skins are loosened.
Plunge into cold water and drain.
Peel; remove stones if desired.
Combine sugar and water and cook 10 minutes.
Add peaches and cook until clear.
Seal in clean hot jars.
