Peach Pie Recipe
Taste this incredibly tasty Peach Pie; it's extremely delicious and is equally easy to make. Perfect to be served as an after-meal dessert or grab a piece as your mrning breakfast!
Ingredients
1 recipe pastry
1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour or 3 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
6 cups sliced fresh peaches
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Butter or margarine
Directions
Line a 9-inch pie plate with half the pastry.
Combine sugar flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and peaches.
Place in pie plate.
Sprinkle with lemon juice and dot with butter.
Cover with top crust.
Bake in a hot oven (450° F) 10 minutes; reduce heat to moderate 375° F and bake 30 to 40 minutes.
Makes one 9-inch pie.
