Ingredients
1 1/2 cups peeled, diced pears
1 1/2 cups peeled, sliced peaches
1 medium onion, chopped
2/3 cup cider vinegar
1/3 cup raisins
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 , teaspoon pepper
1 (3-inch) stick cinnamon
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a large non-aluminum saucepan; stir until well blended.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Cover; reduce heat, and simmer 1 hour, stirring frequently.
Uncover and simmer an additional 5 minutes or until mixture thickens.
Remove and discard cinnamon stick.
Chill before serving with beef or pork.
