Ingredients
| Sugar | 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) | |
| Flour | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Cornstarch | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg yolks | 2 , slightly beaten | |
| Vanilla | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Almond extract | 1⁄4 Teaspoon | |
| Baked tart shells | 6 Inch (3 Inch) | |
| Peach halves | 6 |
Directions
In the top of a double boiler mix together sugar, flour, corn- starch and salt.
Stir in milk.
Cook over low heat, stirring con- stantly, until thick.
Pour slowly into beaten egg yolks, return to double boiler and cook over boiling water 3 minutes.
Cool.
Add flavorings.
Pour mixture into tart shells.
Place a peach half on each, cut side up.
If desired, garnish with whipped cream.
