Homemade Peach Meringue Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Egg whites | 3 , beaten | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 12 soda crackers, finely crushed | ||
| Pecans | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sliced peaches | ||
| Whipped cream | ||
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; add sugar gradually, mixing well.
Mix baking powder with cracker crumbs; add crumb mixture, pecans and vanilla to egg whites.
Spread in greased 9-inch pie pan.
Bake for 30 minutes; cool.
Refrigerate overnight.
Top with peaches and whipped cream.
