Ingredients
1/4 cup water 50 mL
2 tbsp granulated sugar 25 mL
6 cups sliced peeled peaches 1.5 L
1 1/2 cups light cream 375 mL
1/2 cup white wine or white grape juice 125 mL
Vanilla ice cream
Raspberry Sauce (recipe follows)
Directions
In small saucepan, stir water and sugar over low heat until sugar has dissolved.
Let cool.
In blender or food processor, combine peaches and 1/2 cup (125 mL) of the cream puree until smooth.
Pour into large bowl; whisk in remaining cream, cooled sugar syrup and wine.
Pour into serving bowls.
Top with scoop of ice cream; drizzle with Raspberry Sauce
