Peach Jelly Recipe
Ingredients
| 3 1/2 lb. ripe peaches | ||
| Sugar | 4 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Powdered pectin | ||
Directions
Cut up and pit peaches; do not peel.
Crush in large kettle.
Add 1 cup water; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
Strain through jelly bag.
Combine 4 1/2 cups peach juice with sugar; bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.
Boil for 1 minute; stir in pectin.
Bring to rolling boil; boil for 1 minute, stir- ring constantly.
Remove from heat; skim.
Pour into sterilized jars; seal with paraffin.
