Lemon Peach Cobbler Recipe
Peach cobbler is a favorite spring time dessert of mine that I never tire of making. The peach cobbler is a cooked dessert that is prepared with fresh peaches cooked with cornstarch and brown suagr. Topped with biscuit topper and flavored with a dash of lemon juice, the peach cobbler is a must try.
Ingredients
2 teaspoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup cold water
1 1/2 cups sliced fresh peaches
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 teaspoon lemon juice Biscuit Topper
Directions
Mix first 3 ingredients; add peaches.
Cook and stir till bubbly.
Add butter and lemon juice; pour into 2 individual casseroles.
Add Biscuit Topper as for Rhubarb Cobbler (above).
Bake at 400° for 25 minutes.
