Peach Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 5 Tablespoon | |
| Quick-cooking tapioca | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Peach juke - 1 cup | ||
| Almond extract | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Frozen peaches | 1 Quart, sliced | |
| Pastry for 2-crust (9") pie | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Peach | 6 | |
| Maraschino cherries | 6 | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a bowl mix together orange juice, lemon juice and confectioners-€™ sugar.
2. Whip cream and blend in sugar and vanilla.
3. Pour fruit juice into 2 refrigerator trays.
4. Spoon whipped cream over top, but do not mix together (juice and cream will be separate layers).
5. Freeze firm and spoon into sherbet dishes or a compote.
SERVING
6. Top with slivered salted almonds or with peanuts and serve.
