Peach N Almond Souffle Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup egg whites
1/3 cup sugar
Pinch of cream of tartar
4 egg yolks
1 cup peaches, mashed
3 tbsp cornstarch
1/3 cup slivered white almonds
2 tbsp lemon juice
Pinch of salt
1/2 oz almond liqueur
2 drops of orange food coloring
Icing sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
Butter and sugar 4 ramekins or a souffle dish.
In a bowl, beat first 3 ingredients until peaks form.
In a second bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except icing sugar.
Gently fold in egg whites.
Pour into souffle dish.
Bake in oven 35 minutes (or 25 minutes for ramekins).
Carefully remove from oven.
Dust with icing sugar.
