Peach Melba Recipe Video

Yummy poached peaches, with a cheeky raspberry sauce and vanilla ice-cream. So simple to make you’ve gotta give these a go!!

1. Split the vanilla bean with knife and set aside.

1. In a saucepan, pour in the water, sugar and vanilla pod. Place on heat and stir well, let it simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Add in the peaches and simmer for 2 minutes. Stir around with a wooden spatula and simmer for another 2 minutes.
3. Take out the peach from the sugar syrup and let it cool.
4. For raspberry sauce – in a large bowl, add in icing sugar, raspberries, lemon juice and reserved sugar syrup.
5. Blend well with an immersion blender.

6. In a serving plate, place the peaches and ice cream. Drizzle the raspberry sauce over it and serve.
