Ingredients

 Peaches1 Kilogram
 Lime juice1 Teaspoon
 Flour4 Cup (16 tbs), sifted
 Baking powder2 Teaspoon
 Powdered cinnamon1 Teaspoon
 1 tsp powdered seeds of green cardamom
 Salt1 Pinch
 Softened butter1 Cup (16 tbs)
 2 cups castor sugar
 5 eggs, tightly beaten

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Blanch and peel peaches and chop finely.
2)Sprinkle with lime juice and place in a nylon strainer for atleast 30 minutes to drain.
3)Preheat the oven to 180 degree c or 375 degree F
4) Grease and flour a cake tin.

MAKING
5)In a large mixing bowl, sift flour with baking powder, spice powders and salt and keep it aside.
6)Cream butter with sugar beating it till light and fluffy
7) Add and beaten in eggs one at a time till well incorporated.
8) stir in drained chopped peaches.
9)Gently fold in flour, 1/3rd at a time till well blended.
10)Pour the batter into prepared cake tin.
11)Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour until springy to tough or skewer comes out clean.
12) Remove from oven and rest in tin for 5 minutes then invert on a wire rack and let it cool completely.

SERVING
13)Serve the cake topped with creme.
