Gorgeous Peach and Cream Turnover Cake Recipe Video
In this video Phoebe and I make a gorgeous tasting cake for my Mums Birthday (she even makes a cameo at the end!)…. think of this recipe as a pineapple upside-down cake mixed with a victoria sponge and swapped with peaches – very simple, quick and gorgeous tasting!

Directions
MAKING
1. Take two baking tins of equal size, line them, grease them with paper and keep aside.
In a bowl, sieve some baking powder and self-raising flour.
2. Crack open the eggs into the bowl
3. Add castor sugar and softened butter and whisk the mixture well. You may add ½ cup milk to correct the consistency.
4. In a bowl, take the peaches, add in the brown sugar and stir well until the peaches are well-coated.
5. Arrange the peaches on the greased baking tin.
6. Pour half of the cake mixture on top of the arranged peaces and layer well.
7. Pour rest of the mixture on another baking tin.
8. Put the tins in the oven and bake the cakes for 20 minutes.
9. In another bowl, take the vanilla essence, castor sugar, cloy cream and mix well.
10. Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool.
11. Grab a plate and flip the tin. You cake will come off easily.
12. Slather the cream on top of the cake.
13. Now turnover the peach cake on top of it, sprinkle some icing sugar on top and your cake is ready.
