Ingredients

 
Frozen peas - 1 Pound ( About half a Kilo) You may use fresh Peas too but you need to shell them.
 
Tomato paste -A can
 
Onion -1 medium, diced
 
Cooking oil - 2 or 3 table spoons For lower calorie meal, use spray oil.
 
Water or meat broth
 
Salt and Pepper - to taste

Directions

MAKING
1. Saute' the onion in oil, add peas, add the diluted tomato paste, add salt and pepper.
2. You can dilute the tomato paste with meat broth instead of water.
3. Season and boil over on high heat for few minutes then lower the heat and let simmer for at least half an hour or until peas are soft and the sauce tastes cooked and stewed.

FINALIZING
4. Cook white rice on the side.

SERVING
5. Serve hot.
