 Large Onion-1 ,diced
 Garlic5 Clove (5gm)
 Dried Mixed yellow and split green peas-3 cups
 Red lentil3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Barley3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Carrots4
 Celery-2 stalks,diced
 Cumin1 Teaspoon
 Marjoram1 Teaspoon
 Water or vegetable stock-18 cups
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper1 To taste

Directions

MAKING
1.Take a soup kettle, add all the ingredients except the seasoning.
2.Bring to a boil, cover and simmer on gentle heat for upto 2 hours
3.Check if lentils and peas are tender.
4.Add seasoning

SERVING
5.Serve hot.
